CFD Analysis - Computational Fluid Dynamics
Simulation Technology Ltd (SimTech-CFD) was formed in 1995 by Dr. Geoff Whittle to develop and market Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD analysis) consultancy in the built environment. Since that time, several hundred projects have been successfully completed - many, of course, in the UK.
However, our reach is global. We have worked on CFD Analysis projects in Australia, Channel Islands, Eire, India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Qatar, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Unites Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) and the USA.
We applied CFD analysis to airports, atria, auditoria, basement car parks, civic buildings, data centres, department stores, distribution centres, exhibition halls, industrial facilities, laboratories, libraries, museum spaces, office buildings, power station turbine halls, prisons, railway stations, residences, service yards, shopping malls, stadia, temples, tunnels, warehouses. To view our full breadth of experience in a range of areas, view our past projects.
CFD analysis methods are computer-based and deterministic; they provide a rigorous means of evaluating engineering and architectural designs involving air flow. The output of analyses will always include colour graphics plots and, quite often, animation sequences.
