The process of modelling starts with the architects drawings. From these, an initial representation of the space is built using geometry modelling software. The CFD programme then works with the geometry and specific boundary conditions to predict flow patterns, temperatures, etc....

The boundary conditions include for example, extract rates, fan velocity, supply air volumes and heat gains.
